We are very selective when breeding our females, and don’t breed as often as some other breeders do. As a result of our selective breeding program, Abingdon Ranch has a worldwide reputation for providing proven ABCA working border collies. All of our litters are registered ABCA…this has been a highly anticipated litter.

ABCA Lexi is a black and white slick coated border collie and the last daughter of ABCA Nan and ABCA Lex. Nan was a multi ASCA Trial Champion, and USBCHA National Cattles Qualifier numerous times, winning 10 buckles in her life time. Lex is an ASCA Working Trial Champion as well, won 14 Open Trials in a row, and also qualified for the USBCHA National Cattle Dog Finals. Lexi is a full sister to ABCA Cookie, our best producing female of working border collies on the ranch. ABCA Reika, Mollie and Kit are all litter mates, daughters of ABCA Cookie x ABCA Tip. We have been so impressed with that litter that we have kept all three of those females for ourselves, and are very pleased we had the foresight to do so. The sire of this litter, Krome, was purchased from Scott Mayfield from Oklahoma. He is a slick coated, dark red tri color ABCA Border Collie with the size and substance we were looking for in a stud. The pups from Krome’s first litter have all proven to be hard biting, good boned, working border collies that showed an interest in stock at a very early age.
